a flag that marks a specific line in the music. Bookmarks contain small text notes.

a music file format. It is similar to MIDI except it can be played without additional hardware.

the building block of a MOD's music data. Each pattern contains 64 lines (4 measures.)

| sequence slot |
a slot in the sequence table. Each sequence slot contains one pattern to be played.

| sequence table |
the table, or "pattern play list" that tells MacMod Pro when to play each pattern.

| signature |
the four letter tag that tells a MOD file's particular format. |

an editor that is displayed in the Editor window.
